We don't do it nearly as often as I would like to, but my hubby's work schedule makes it a little difficult. I would probably do it 1-2 times a week at least, but I'm lucky if we do it once every 2 weeks. I've had to resort to "other" things from time to time on my own, which isn't nearly as good, but it helps some. I just really miss the intimacy! And the huge belly doesn't help that. I am looking forward to normal positions again some day! lol. But when we are able to do it, I've found that the most comfortable position for me is on my hands and knees. Which is surprising since I really didn't get much pleasure from it before, but can really enjoy it now! The only down side to it is that he gets it way too fast. As for him being in the mood, he doesn't initiate it very often, but when I asked him how often he does something on his own, he said probably every other day. I'm not sure why he doesn't come to me for that, but it may just be that he is being nice about it or something! Sometimes that bothers me, since I actually want to be able to do that for him, but I think that often it is easier for him to take care of it himself? Again because of his work schedule.

Thanks for all the replies!!!!!!! b4 the pregnancy we were at it all the time!! but now at 25 wks, we are doing good to do it once a week.and GREAT if we do it twice in a week.....from seeing yalls replies i feel little better,cause it seems like we are doing it as much as most of you .....it just bothers me HE NEVER initiates anymore...of course "saying he is worried bout the baby" then outta no where when the last thing on my mind is sex..he tries to jump on me??? It just felt so wrong,like he was doing it for the wrong reasons,just to make me feel "wanted"..even tho he proly didnt even want to... IDK I just hope it gets better after the baby gets here!!!!!!!! cuz i am VERY unhappy with our sex life right now!!

I worry, its not just the baby...and he doesnt find me attractive anymore....it also worries me that he still wont want me after the baby is born!! like we dont have that spark anymore??? oh yea, did i mention we have a seven year old still in the family bed with us????? that means for ANYTHING to happen, i have to wake hubby up after our son goes to sleep....then look forward to gettin freaky on the Hard floor(in the other room of course)!!! Im Just screwed, and NOT in a good way LOL..........as far as puttin my son in his own bed, i cant even deal with the thought of him being across the house from me...like i said ,SCREWED!!

Queen - can I give you some advice? Get that boy out of your bed! (The 7 year old, not the hubby.) I have a 12 year old daughter who still wants to sleep with us every night. It's a struggle for her to be independent, and it's a stressor on me because so many nights it's easier to give in than spend half the night making her go back to her own room. If you're that worried about him being on the other side of the house, get a monitor so you can hear him - but he can't hear you. He'll be fine.

Also, don't worry about your hubby not wanting you any more after baby comes. Obviously it wasn't a problem after the first one, or you wouldn't be pregnant now! I know we all feel fat and ugly at times, but you are giving him the greatest gift possible - that will bring you closer than ever.

I am jealous of you guys - 1-2 times a week? I'm lucky if it's 1-2 times a MONTH, even when not PG, and I have to initiate always. I've learned to just ask for it when I want some. He's always willing, he just doensn't seem to think of it. Weird.

i can empathize with yu on the fact that i worry its because my h doesnt find me attractive anymore...i mean i know he loves me but i dont think he likes me all fat and swollen and weighing in more than he does...i had been pretty fit and worked very hard to get that way...mostly for him and at that point in time he could barely keep his hands off me...but here i am fat and..well i would say unattractive and he wants no part.....i too hope that things change after the baby comes becaue for me sex is a very big part of our relationship..it is intimate and makes me feel colse to him....
like ive said before though....i porb wouldnt give it up right now anyway...im too uncomfortable.....

Sex is awful now! My DH is SO paranoid about the baby that we have only had sex twice in 4 months! And once went awful. Now, if I have the slightest pain or worry, he won't even THINK about it! He said he thinks about the baby every time and then he is grossed out thinking about sex (he says its not me...but he doesn't really find pregnancy hot, meaning pregnant women make him think of moms and babies, not sex, which is normal I guess).
The worst part - I have the BIGGEST sex drive in my whole life right now! I want it every day! Now I am worried we won't be able to do it soon, because before only him on top was comfortable for me (I have some health issues that cause this).
AHHH - what do I do?

I am also paranoid he won't like me once we have a child, because he will think of me as a mom.

i am really glad that you posted this i was l gonna ask myself because i am really scared about doing it i do it with dh to keep him happy but i tense up and normally start crying halfway through. i have no sex drive what soever but strangly he likes me more now i am preg cos i have quite a boys shape (fla up and down) and now i have big boobs and arse! someonetold me that if you dont do it then you will have problems during the birth is that tru?

I know it helps you go into labor, but i dont know if it helps with birth

I have a slightly higher sex drive at the moment but nothing like my husband's high sex drive. I do it 50% of the time out of pity!!
I could go without it easily.

When i was pregnant with my son, my husband was all over me, but there was some issues with me and him, i was not treated very good at times so i kept turning him down and then he got to the point that he never asked..much anyway. With my daughter we had sex about 1-3 times a week, in my first trimester i do it just to please him because i am not feeling welll cause of morning sickness, second trimester is usually a good time cause i am in the mood usally lol. But the third trimester i am back to being really dry and feeling so tired and not in the mood so i usually do it for him for the most part. But he seems to find me very sexy pregnant or not lol...It does not bother him . :) But yea our sex goes down, to sometimes only 1 a week, depending on how im feeling, aswell as how much he is asking, sometimes i will give in, and other times i just to tired :)
