Rib pain

I am 20 week and have just started having some pain in my right side under my breast/ribs when I sneeze. Was thinking it may be from ligaments loosening and baby growing but now I read it can be a sign of pre-eclampsia. I have no other symptoms of preeclamsia except some swelling, blood pressure has been normal, been checking every day.

Anyone have this? Should I be concerned or is this normal? I have an U/S scheduled for Tuesday and will definitely mention it then. If it gets worse, I will call DR but for now it's not getting worse. Any advice is welcomed.

With pre-eclampsia there is usually at least one other symptom present. There are lots of reasons why you might be having pain there, though. As your uterus grows it puts pressure on places and moves things around a little bit. Some women (like me) have problems with gallstones and their gallbladder during pregnancy and the pregnancy hormones can make it worse. That's about where you would feel pain. That's where I feel mine anyway. When I had pre-eclampsia, the pain that I felt there was pretty constant-not just when I sneezed or moved.

I don't have a gallbladder (chemotherapy literally killed it years ago and it was removed), but I have rib pain and lower abdominal pain when I sneeze or move in certain ways or cough. I'm 17 weeks.

That almost certainly sounds like round ligament pain.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
