Okay... On the other support site, One girl informed me that you could still have something like a periode while you are pregnant. She said that her friend was having her periode for six months & at 6 1/2 months she found out that she was that far along into her pregnancy. Is this possible or is it just spotting? cuz I have heard that light spotting during pregnancy is fairly normal.

I never experienced any spotting/period. However, a close friend of mine had her period EVERY month of her pregnancy. She has a very heathly 5 year old son. Best thing if it does happen that you are spotting/bleeding, make sure you contact your doctor.

My doc informed me that it is not possible to have your period during pregnancy but you can experience bleeding.. even tho we look at it as the same thing it is not a regular period...
CaterPillary
Okay... so would this bleeding be very similar to a regular periode?

it should not be as heavy and should not last as long as a regular period...
CaterPillary
Well... it is good to know.

I spotted for months and never could find out the real reason why. I tell you it was so unsettleing to see blood.

I have not expereinced this, however a friend of mine had her period for the first 5 months of pregnancy with her first child. she didnt know she was pregnant until then either. my cousin also had issues throughout her pregnancy.. she had a period all the way through, and to her it was a normal period.. not just spotting..
