I would say that it's possible she's lying. I have heard that there's a website out there advising women to "get back at their ex's" by faking a pregnancy and then faking a miscarriage. That practice is probably why most people feel that women who are emotional after an actual miscarriage are "milking it" or "overreacting".
And as for getting pregnant after a miscarriage. When I had my miscarriage my doctor told me it will take at least 3 months for my uterus to thicken up the lining and get back to normal. Sure enough... 3 months later I was pregnant again.
Anyway... it is just something to think about.
