Sorry for tmi!
so i just went to the toilet, had a wee...but when i wiped, the tissue was a light pink colour
it wasn't mucus like, and it didn't look bloody, just a pink colour :/
i'll be 38 weeks in 2 days and have felt the babies movements have slowed down the last couple of days
what do you ladies make of this?
it's too late here to phone my midwife, i would have to go to the hospital which is over 30 miles away...and with a 5 year old i don't reeeeally want to have to make the trip and be there for hours if everything is a-ok

Sometimes its worth the trip if it will give you piece of mind. We have to drive 30-45 minutes to get to the hospital where we are and I have been so much they know me. Lol The pink mucus is normal. I am 39 weeks and i will be 39 weeks on Monday and I have already started losing mine. The doc says I will lose it until its time for me to go into labor. However if the baby is not moving as much as normal it may just be worth that trip. 5 year old and all. My doc says the baby will still move as normal even when you are in labor so I would definitely go if your midwife is not accessible at this time.

baby is wriggling about as normal this morning, so im feeling much better about that, thank goodness!
put a panty liner on before bed last night, woke up this morning and it feels a little wet...not alot though :/ plus everytime i go for a pee...a few minutes later i feel like i need to go pee again, even though i don't...
i'm due on the 6th of january, and my midwife seems convinced i won't go into labour earlier, not sure if i'm over worrying about everything all of a sudden, i'm usually so laid back! xox

Your Midwife could be right, BUT, if you need her you make her come!! My friends midwife almost missed her birth because it was her first baby and the midwife was convinced that she would take hours and hours, and thought my friend was needlessly freaking out. Well she wasn't and by time the midwife got there they didn't even get to follow the birth plan because baby was too far along!
Midwifes are wonderful, but still listen to your body! And if you inconvenience them with a false alarm? O'WELL!! Its the job they chose, and better to be wrong than delivering on your own. Are you having a midwife home or hospital birth?

will be phoning the midwife tomorrow for piece of mind :)
baby has really made up with being quiet the last few days by moving about non stop today!
i opted for a hospital birth :) i'm too much of a worrier not to try and get there in time haha
