Kayla arrived at 4:32 pm. on June 16. She was 7 lb. 14 oz. and 20 inches long. This is my third baby girl and all their birthdays started the same! My water broke while I was sleeping (woke me of course) at 4am (with the other two my water broke within a couple hours of this on their birth days). Off to the hospital we went. My contractions were at irregular intervals so after lunch they started oxytocin which worked too well. They had to stop it for a while as the contractions were so close and still not doing much. The last 6 cm. went really quickly and after about 8 (maybe fewer) pushes there she was! Her face was quite bruised from the rapid descent, but now looks much better. She has quite a bit of dark brown hair. Kayla is nursing well (ouch!) and has already gained a little back -she was 7lb. 7oz. the day she went home and was 7lb. 9oz. on Monday at the doctor's. Anyway, we are so glad she is here and her sisters are glad to be able to see and kiss her. =)
