I'm currently 16w5d pregnant. I was a the dr yesterday and everything checked out fine. For the past few days, I've been having significant pain in my lower abdomen... below my pelvic bone. It feels heavy and sore. It hurts more when I stand up and walk around, and is sometimes accompanied by stabbing pains. I'm not sure what to think about it. Could it be normal stretching pains or something like a UTI? It doesn't burn when I pee or anything but it concerns me alot.

You should get it checked out for sure if it is an UTI, but the pain could definitely your uterus stretching. To be sure see a doc! I hope that its nothing major.

Hmm... it kinda sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions, but I think its a bit early for those...

Those sound similar to the pains I get. I was told they are stretching pains or round ligament. They are especially prominent when I stand up or pick my son up, to be on the sfe side, I would definitely run them by the doctor.

I was going to say stretching pains. I am 26 weeks now and to me it almost feels like I have been working out or a pressure really. I guess more sore then anything. You should let your OB know just to keep any eye on it. I'm sure you're just worried over nothing :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
