You sound just like me back in January. I also had fertilty problems. Got pregnant on my 4th month of Clomid.
I spotted (some days pretty heavy) and had a few clots come out from weeks 5-8. It was 3 weeks of panic. I also had 3 ultrasounds weeks 6,7, and 8 and everything was fine. The good news is that week 12 was also great! The heart beat was 161 and the baby was growing normal.
I'm now 15 weeks! My spotting has completly stopped.
I know it's hard, but try to stay as positive as possible. I think it's good that you are having brow spotting now! The bleeding is slowing down.
My RE told me that spotting is somewhat common. In my ultrasound she noticed some fluid trapped outside the sac. She said the fluid was working its way out. She thinks that's why I was spotting.
I'm send positive vibes your way! So happy to hear that you are pregnant!
The only advice I can give is this. Know that whatever happens is in God's hands. Trust Him and try to keep some sense of peace in that decision. The hardest thing about handing things over to God is not trying to take them back.
I will be be praying for you and your baby, and I'm here if you need to talk.
I think about you & just pray that everything is ok at your 12 week scan (and for the rest of your pregnancy!!!). I haven't had bleeding but I can completely relate to your fear. I've told you about my loss after my first pregnancy from IVF (at 20 weeks) and so now during this pregnancy I've been so absolutely afraid, sometimes I feel like I'm suffocating b/c of the fear. Everytime I go to the bathroom or feel any type of discharge, I feel that same type of anxiety that you described. I've never gone to therapy before but I found a therapist who deals specifically with infertility/high risk pregnancy/loss. Talking to her has helped me so much. She gives me little things to do to help manage my fear and anxiety.....like repeating 3 positive affirmations anytime I start to panic. I do mind/body exercises (deep breathing, relaxation CDs, etc.) and it really does help.
I don't think it's possible to completely let go of the fear (after infertility or loss) but 40 weeks is a long time & any little things that help are life savers. Just know you're not alone!! I'm sending good thoughts & prayers your way!!
