I googled trying to get pregnant when we were ready and it took two weeks for us to get pregnant. If your periods are regular (every 28 days) then you should ovulate between the 11th and 14th day after the first day of your last period. Start keeping track of when your periods start. When we were trying we never had sex more than once in a day as it doesn't help anything and the male needs to recouperate to be as potent. If you are having trouble I would suggest once every two or three days. Cut out any smoking, drinking and caffine as much as possible. Other than that google and maybe meet with an OB before getting pregnant. Best of luck to you.

You can buy ovulation test strips at any pharmacy (walmart, CVS, etc and you don't need a prescription) You pee on the strip and it tells you when you are ovulating and thus when to do the baby dance. Worked like a charm for me.

It took me 2 1/2 years due to a thyroid issue, so I've had plenty of practice! There are lots of "clues" that your body is about to ovulate. One very important one is cervical fluid--it turns to an "eggwhite" consistancy when you're fertile (right before ovulation). Everybody is different, many women don't ovulate by day 14, some take longer, so don't freak out if it takes longer. The ovulation tests can be bought cheaply on line and are very helpful to know when to "try." Also, it is more important to have sex before/up to ovulation than after. Sperm can live up to five days, so the more you have the better the odds.

Ovulation kits are great. Worked for my sis, worked for me.

I had to take clomid so it was a little differant for me (ovulation tests didnt work) but i had sex on cycle days 11-14. AND only has sex every other day. Sperm can live in your body for 72 hours. So we figured everyother day kept it from getting boring and gave hubby a chance to make more sperm. it worked I had a positive test by day 30.

ps i assume you only have one partner lol your post says boyfriends. But i guess if you have more than one it increases your chances lol just kidding.

Another thing that you might want to do along with what everyone else is telling you is that you might want to prop your butt up for 30 minutes after doing the baby dance. We did that with my Son and I got pregnant with him, we tried that after 10 months of trying, and then when we TTCed for our second baby who I am pregnant with now we propped my butt up right away and Boom I got pregnant. It is something to think about as well. :)

Apart from keeping track of your cycle. Relax a lot.

Folic acid is a big thing to take if you have already had a miscarriage. A friend of mine had 3 miscarriages right in a row and the doctor told her to allow her body to rest 3 months before trying again and in that three months start taking prenatal vitamins because it helps pack the lining of your uterus full of vitamins for when you do get pregnant which gives your baby a better chance. And I do know from her experience that propping your butt up on a pillow for at least 30 minutes helps increase the odds of getting pregnant. Hope it helps for you.
