Let us know and good luck :)
My doctor was surprised that I didn't wait until a skipped period to take the test, but the symptoms I was experiencing gave me a huge suspicion that I was pregnant and I followed my instinct and took the test. Being that my pregnancy would be VERY early, my doctor isn't giving me the most positive of vibes and hinted that she thought it may just be a chemical pregnancy. Due to my history of endo, I am completely freaked out, plus I am becoming a train wreck at work as I am both physically and mentally exhausted and work a good nine hours a day.
Does anyone know if recently having surgery for endo could cause a false positive? I know ovarian cysts can cause a false positive, but apparently I had all the endo removed in March and my doctor said there should be no reason why I should not be able to get pregnant.
Well, I just took a second home pregnancy test and the result came back negative. I am highly suspecting a chemical pregnancy.
Apparently, the results of my blood tests came back, but my main doctor is out until Tuesday and her assistant did not call with the results yesterday like the receptionists claimed she would.
Very upset, but considering how common chemical pregnancy is combined with the fact that this was my first pregnancy gave me the feeling it was chemical, so I didn't psyche myself up too much.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a positive then a negative a week later yet still be pregnant? I am on amoxicillin for an ear infection. Anyone know if anti-biotics can mess with pregnancy tests?
Also, does anyone else agree that my doctors are evil for making we wait this long WITHOUT giving me the results of my blood work? No woman should have to wait a week for results. Ridiculous.
