i've had terrible nausea in the beginning and lots of heart burn and indigestion towards the end, i was munching on tums alot but they didnt seem to help, but milk of magnesia really helped me. i tried drinking regular milk, but it gave me even more indigestion. but i did hear heartburn mean the baby will be born with a full head of hair (but that just might be an old wives tale) good luck, hope you feel better :)

I am also in the same situation. I am 33 weeks pregnant and having horrible heartburn. I always drink milk and try to stay away from pizza and things like that. But sometimes it is something you wouldn't even think of that gives me heartburn. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck and I hope it stops for you soon:)

Talk to your doctor. My doctor allows pepcid and pepcid complete. It will stop some of your acid production and help out a lot! I also drank milk and ate peanut butter graham crackers before bed and that helped for a few weeks then I had to go to the pepcid. The pepcid complete works fast and lasts long so it is nice that it has the dual action.

Definitely talk to your doctor. I had horrible acid reflux, to the point of keeping me up at night. My doctor said I could take 150 mg of Zantac twice daily and it's been working wonders!

I take Zantac 150 mg anytime I feel acid coming up! It does work wonders! I get acid in the top of my belly and it will last for hours but with zantac it will be gone within 45 minutes! Good luck
