It's a BOY!
Kaeden Philippe Lash was born at 5:42 am on Friday 12/28/07. He weighed 7lbs 6 oz and was 20.5 inches long. He has dark hair like mommy and looks like he has his daddys eyes.
He's still in the hospital right now in NICU because as we were getting ready to come home yesterday he started to look jaundaced. He is under phototherapy treatment but doing very well and is healthy other than the jaundace...
I'm really torn up that we could not bring him home with us but the hospital was nice enough to discharge me and still let me stay the night last night... today I had to leave because they got busy and needed the room. I don't like what he is going thru having to just lie under a lamp only being picked up to feed and burp no more that 20 mins a a time... WHen I get him home I'm not Putting him down!!!
The whole process from labor to delivery was not that bad really. It was the next 2 days that were the worst pain wise.....Stiff neck and shoulders, spinal headache ( they poked a whole in my dura when I got the epidural so I was leaking spinal fluid) I had to have an episiotomy. so that is sore. Thankfully I'm feeling much better... NOW I JUST NEED KAEDEN HOME WITH ME>

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
You must be so EXCITED.
He will be home in your arms making you smile before you know it!

Boys are so much fun. I have a 19 month old, and another boy on the way who will be here in May.
Get rest now, and when he comes home you will be ready to play with him all of the time..
