Pregnancy Support Group
Welcome to the waiting room for anticipating moms and dads. Whether you're expecting your first or a new little brother or sister, meet other parents in this community who are also looking forward to a new addition to the family.
But it really is a blessing. I have a permanent best friend always around, and its awesome having someone who looks exactly like you around. :) I LOVE being a twin!
Congrats on your pregnancy :)
Everyone was nervous that my sister would not be able to handle it - but she is doing just fine. Yes, it is alot of extra work but the most important part is that you have a schedule for the babies. Feeding, naps, etc. at the same time...use all the suppport you can get too. You and your partner will have to really work as a team.
You are going to feel nervous and stressed by this, and thats ok. But when your little ones come, you won't be able to imagine it any way else.
Congrats and good luck:)
As far as morning sickness goes, I am very jeoulous that you are not having symptoms really badly. I was so sick up until week 17. Things have evened out in that department. But now to make up for it, I feel like a swollen blimp. I am so huge, it's rediculous. You will also eat, a lot. And even though you may crave junk food, try to snack on veggies and fruit as much as possible. If I'm craving a shake, my boyfriend makes it at home, to controll the amount of sugar. It is mostly made out of fruit with a little ice cream. Also, to help with the stretch marks, which you will get, start using cocoa butter now and apply it at least every night. It helps keep your skin moisturized so that your stretch marks at least wont be too bad. When you start to show I suggest applying it twice a day. It has helped me a lot.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. There are also some other amazing moms with twins on here. They have helped me with some of my questions. Congratulations on your twins. It's fun to feel them both grow and start to move around.
Peace and blessings
