Has anyone experience having symptoms/"signs" of possibly being pregnant but have encountered having a false negative pregnancy test? My wife and I are trying to get pregnant and she has been using both Clear blue and First Response tests and she has experienced negatives on a lot of the First Responses tests. Has anyone encountered this before? We are a bit confused...

A friend's sister had that happen to her but I think those tests are accurate most of the time. There have been times I've been convinced I was pregnant and shocked to find out I wasn't after all. If any doubts, a blood test or an internal examination will confirm it.

if you are getting negative results and you still feel like there is a pregnancy than just wait a few weeks and retest. i insisted on retesting and after a few false negatives i finally got a positive result. pregnancy tests are accurate but only if there is enough HCG in the urine. In other words... if it is too early the test will be negative.

I had false negative pregnancy home tests with my first kiddo. I took several of them... went in couple of days later I went in and got tested and BOOM positive pregnancy test!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
