I guess it depends on what they feel like... sharp or period-like cramps are not good and you should call your dr. However, I am 13 weeks and I still get a sore abdomen... round ligament pain. Is it in a particular spot? Sometimes the corpus luteum (where the egg was released) can cause a little pain as it produces progesterone.

as long as they arent any worse then your period cramps and if it feels like a tugging or sharp cramp on one side or the other it can be ligament stretching. If you start to bleed or spot other then brown call your doctor. I had cramps with my daughter so bad they knocked me on the floor, but my doc said they were normal and it is normal especially in early pregnancy. And my son who I am pregnant with had period cramps for two weeks then they subsided now I get them now and again but mostly I feel like my uterus is gonna rip out when I walk lol its from ligament stretching...So dont worry about it unless you bleed or they get so severe they hurt beyond period cramps....Good luck :) God bless

i agree... it might feel like cramps, but more than likely its not. i will be 12 weeks tomorrow and i still get these feelings, but im relatively small, and hunnie, ppl like us have to stretch ALOT to accomodate that tiny thing inside of us!!(:
