could I be pregnant with twins

Ok so I am having my 4th child 1st was a girl and last two were boys I knew they were boys before the scan cause how I felt was exactly the same in both pregnancies. This time however I am extremely tired my breasts are extremely sore and I have suffered everyday all day from sickness waves of nausea and being sick. When I went for an appointment with the midwife she said my belly felt like I was a couple of weeks further along making me 12weeks when I know I can only be 9-10 weeks from my last period. Im expecting a letter of appointment for my ultrasound anyday but was curious as to how anyone else felt carrying twins. Also twins are on both side of tge family thanks for any response

I have 4 children. Two were single pregnancies and one was with my twins. I have to say that right at about 8 weeks is when I started having morning sickness with all of my babies. However, my morning sickness seemed to be so much worse with my twin pregnancy. It was awful! My heartburn was horrendous, the aches and pains, and pretty much every pregnancy symptom seemed to be amplified compared to my other two pregnancies.

It's easier when you can compare to prior pregnancies. My twin pregnancy was nothing like my others. But everyone is different. The only way to know for sure is with an ultra sound. Good luck and congratulations!

Every pregnancy is different, even from the same woman. These sound like normal first trimester symptoms. Belly measurements aren't even close to accurate until 20+ weeks. Dating measurements must be taken via ultrasound this early. I've never had twins, just a singleton, but this sounds on par for one baby. The only way to know if you have twins is by ultrasound.
