ok well i am a teen mom and thanks to allt he people out there that like to bash teen moms because it onlymakes us stronger. we had our daughter when we were 17 years old. We never went on welfare, we earned every dollar we live off of. Our daughter was 9 pounds 11 ounces at birth. she is now 8 months old. we have lived on our own for over a year. my boyfriend now has a job in the government and i have returned to school to make sure i finish. being a teen mom is not something to be ashamed of or be bashed because of. yet is a way for others to take there anger out on us because they have problems of their own. you can not say all teen parents are bad because im going into become an architect. so really think about what you have to say towards us before you make a cruel wrong decision. Just think alot of people n here probly have a teenager and if you bash us and your kid gets pregnant then you accept it. then your being a hiprocrit!

also if you have has any sexual contact under the age 18 and didnt have a baby your still in the wrong for what you are doing because technically you did chose the life style we have, and were just living it to its fullest as you took just a little longer to become pregnant. wow one year does not change anything! 20 or 21? no matter if u were immature the year before ur still most likely immature the next. so teen parents and eldered parents. There is NO DIFFERENCE!

can we just drop this? We all have different opinions about it. And lot of us are never going to agree on this.
I agree with many of you saying that we should just be here supporting each other. We should. There are always people that will bash and put down teen parents but nothing we can do. There ARE many many goood teen parents out there as well.
I don't think it is a good idea to plan on getting pregnant when your so young. It's just so hard. What is the rush? I'm not trying to bash any young parents cuz I myself am a young mom. I didn't plan it but am taking responsiblitly for my actions and wouldn't change what happened for anything. Sometimes it happens. And I think the ones who grow up and who take good care of their children are great. Should be proud of yourself.
And she wasn't putting down teen parents. She is and knows she is pregnant herself. She was just stating that she didn't get why someone would try for a baby so young. Think they don't know what they are getting into. It's not all fun being a parent. It is very hard. And I agree with confused and don't think some people realize that.

teen pregnancy is a wonderful thing, you get to spend more time with your child good luck.

pregnancy at any age is a wonderful thing at a young age were able to spend more time with our children
