Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS) Support Group
Premenstrual Stress Syndrome (PMS) is stress which is a physical symptom prior to the onset of menstruation. PMS is exceedingly common, occurring in 75% of women of reproductive age during their lifetime, characterized by symptoms of mood swings, depression, anxiety and irritability. It is often accompanied by physical symptoms such as bloating and cramping.
But it is day 12 now and last night the angry, pissed off, getting worked up over everything set in. Along with sleeplessness, adrenalin, shakiness, bloating, cravings.
Another friend here on DS said that as she got into her 40's the symptoms of PMDD lengthened to affect her throughout her whole cycle.
Ugh!
I wouldn't take the chance, but I try to stay away from doctors and hospitals and surgery if I can at all help it.
