I have been taking Yaz for 2 months now and it seems to be helping me. I have severe PMDD and have for years. This last month my family has been going through a very, very hard time and I have really held it together. Before I would be out of control and hating myself. Yaz has really seemed to have evened out my hormones. I am hoping things will only continue to improve.

I was on Yasmin for 4 years and I was just diagnosed with PMDD 3 months ago. I started YAZ then, but no changes in my PMS symptoms yet. I get so out-of-control emotional and moody it's hard on my family and myself. The week prior to my cycle I keep to myself and don't really want to be around anyone. It's so hard being a woman sometimes.. lol
xtini
Taking birth control pills has made my periods shorter and less painful. I took Ortho TriCyclen for several years and then one day it started making me feel sick. Just thinking about taking it would make me feel ill. I switched to the patch but it really irritated my skin. Now I take Yazmin and I dont have any problems so far. Smoking while on the pill makes my circulation really bad. Even if I just have one cig, my fingers and toes get tingly and I get pains in my arms and legs.
