I have always been told God hears all prayers big or small an more importantly he knows your needs even before you do. Yet sometimes it seems he doesn't awnser prayers. I believe sometimes his awnser is not yet because it will fit into his master plan sometime, but sometimes I believe we ask and don't take time to listen, espically if the awnser is no.

They call them children of God the child part may come from our impatience.

I was moved when I read your prayer. I agree that there are reasons some prayers are not answered. We need to have faith that God is in charge and knows what is best for all of us.

I believe all prayers are heard and answered. I just think that often we don't want to hear the answer because it's not the one we want or, as you said, we've not been shown the answer yet, but it is to come. He is always with us.

I AGREE. REALLY THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNANSWERED PRAYER. IT'S EITHER YES, NO, OR WAIT. IT IS UP TO US TO DIFFRENTIATE BETWEEN THOSE. IT IS UP TO US TO LISTEN TO GOD AND HEAR HIS VOICE AND NOT TO OUR OWN SELFISH WILL. THAT CAN BE SO DIFFICULT AT TIMES BUT IT IS THEN THAT WE TAKE UP OUR CROSS DAILY AND FOLLOW HIM. IT IS NOT OUR WILL, BUT HIS.

I think what it come's down to is it's all in God's Timing not our's. and that may not always be what we want but only He knows whats best for us so sooner my not always be better. When we pray for something we need to let the Lord do His work and then we now it will come out right.

Thy will be done Lord.
