I'm old enough to have been born and raised without the internet all the way until 10 years after graduating college. Nonetheless, just these last 2 days without wifi showed me how even I depend on it for so much. It was weird not to come here for 2 days running. It's good to be back.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
i started working computers when the computing power in the average 21st century wrist watch wouldn't fit into a suburban track house. i had been through 3 tech burnouts in my career before the world wide web coalesced. i still haven't learned how to have fun with computers, but i'm still a work-a-holic who wonders often about all these rooms full of disconnected people with their heads bowed devoutly over their cellu-lights.
