Hi.
Last July two x-ray said that I broke my left hand yet I was smiling through it. I had to see a hand surgeon who happens to be on the scleroderma medical list.
The hand surgeon did an x-ray and said what the other x-ray showed the one we did today show something different. She requested me to do an MRI.
By august/September last year I did an MRI. Remember from July last year I was wearing a brace. MRI show tendon torn because of calification. Hand surgeon stated "Surgery with scleroderma?" As if she was debating if surgery was worth it.
I was supposed to be doing an EMG and nerve conduct test in January but because I am terrified of needles I keep rescheduling. But I finally scheduled for April.
Thank God for therapist because thanks to my therapist and much prayers two weeks ago I went to the hospital to see my possible neurologist ( will not go into deals) after I was transferred to him. He did the nerve conduct test and said it was normal. I asked him do I have to do the other one. He said no.
The week after which was last week I had to see hand surgeon. To make it short. She said I can take off brace because I am feeling no pain etc. Which I didn't really felt during this process. She asked me to wear brace at night and then she gave me a few precautions and when to return if certain things happen. I am happy that I am not doing surgery and the brace off in the day time. I didn't want to do surgery especially in times like this.
Lastly I have not been feeling well and has been resting a lot because I have a few conditions more like five which is causing me fatigue. But I miss you all and even though I am not online as often as I was, I still support you all

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

That’s great that you don’t need surgery on your hand yay :) & that you didn’t have to do the EMG. I’m really proud of you that you did the nerve test I remember on your other post you were nervous about that. I was super nervous when I had to do those nerve tests too, they were pretty painful because nerve damage in my shoulder & hands.
Same here when I’m not online or you aren’t online, you always have my support & keep you in my prayers too.
Big hug <3
that is, indeed, good news and solid progress.
I'm sorry that you're struggling in other ways sweetie.... Gentle hug... xo
