Feeling really dumped on at work. The org I have worked at for about five years has lost about 15 good staffers. Several in the last couple of months. Some of workers took their frustrations out on me weeks before leaving. This is the most stressful, toxic place I have ever worked in my 30 years. I've stayed so long because I like the management, the org mission, decent pay/benefits, and I honestly believed I was helping clients in crisis (primary reason). BUT now that most of the old staff is gone and I've been labeled a senior worker I'm starting to get dumped on. I updated my resume today, the first time in four years. Really thought things would get better with a few office bullies gone...but now I'm getting the extra and I don't see lots of people trying to join our office... I applied to job tonight and by midnight I was offered a contingency offer for the new job after dealing with AI text bot, and AI interview bot. Then I did video conferencing live interview that sealed the deal by midnight.
This is a whole different ball game!
