first mass with new priest. Thinking about how my dad and then the old priest passed away last year and what life means. Saw a vision of the new priest as a priest- puppet while he was speaking; was this mental illness or the Holy Spirit showing me something about him? Being in the choir makes me part of the church and interested in the changes.
all my failures and mistakes haunt me. I can volunteer and try to be kinder, but the past seems unbearable. all the traumas are over and I'm calm for now. Sometimes it's hard not to obsess about being assaulted, but now so much of the past seems like bizarre dreams. Even my original trauma, my uncle himself, is a dying man in his seventies. I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.
