It's late Friday night now, so I wouldn't call this a Friday Night check in per se. But I still wanted to offer an opportunity for any of us who needs a shout out to tide us over the weekend.
My Friday started out hard, with major neuropathy pain for me from the Chronic Kidney Disorder a doc's overly generous Seroquel prescription for my PTSD left me. I usually take my dog for a walk every day, something that airs my PTSD out nicely for me, but couldn't today. I'm hoping for better tomorrow. Hoping the same for y'all, too.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I love to see people check in.... I just came back from a walk with Cici and am sipping on a cup of coffee
Have a good weekend all!!... xo
Part of that was walking my dog Bonita, so it's sweet to hear of you walking Cici. It's so great you have her.
SunCloud sounds nice and cozy :) My 3 dogs and cat love to snuggle when i have my coffee!
I am in extreme all over pain and migraine on and offand nausea and very tired since i had my 5th covid shot on Thursday after my PCP appt. The pharmacy though said thats a good thing it means its working well to protect me. I have gotten Moderna for all 5 which is getting hard to get the pharmacy said and they told me to stick with it due to i have so many drug and non drug allergies. I am really struggling with my dexcom 7 . I have used it for 2 months now and i can have the over patch on one for 10 days and have no issues and can use the same exact one, same skin tac etc and in less than a few hours my arm will be puffy and red and rash and stay that way for over 2 to 3 wekes after removing it. The pharmacist saw my arm when she gave me my covid booster and said i might be someone who is allergic to the glue stuff they use in even non latex adhesive, that all adheseive could make me react. I am not giving up on this dexcom yet though becuase we now know for sure my pain is causing my high sugars. I am very frustrated because i only lost 1 1/2 pounds on my Drs scale Thrusday in teh last month but she said to take into account that i have almost no appeitite which not eating much can put weight on you, also we keep having to increase insulin due to my pain and insulin can make you gain weight, and third i have only had 3 or 4 doses of ozempic so far i think 4 and just the lowest dose, it takes awhile to get up on a good dose (our goal is to lower insulin in time) and i am not at a level that it helps you lose weight yet, but i had been losing so well, i am only down 44 pounds so far, but were looking at spring/summer for surgery on my back so i do have time.
Also Muji i never had much of a weight issue until i was on the max dose of seroquel and gained 140 pounds in a year without over eating! The shrink i had would not take me off so my neurologist did.
Good news is i see a new pain Dr two hours away on weds and praying he can help me, he works with severe pain like I have! I barely sleep due to the pain other than sleptall day yesterday from my reaction to the covid shot. then was up almost all night ugh. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
