Wednesday "Hump Day" Check In
These day check ins SunCloudJD has posted for us lately really work for me, so in case they work for you I figured I'd post a thread for one today in case you want to swap support for the "hump day" of the middle of the week today.
Me, I had lots of PTSD flashbacks I can't explain today and yet seemed able to get past them and get back on track after each one of them and get my concentration back so as to stay in control of what I was trying to do today . Thanks for your support in helping me do that. You help me accept that that's what coping with a chronic illness means. It doesn't mean no more symptoms, it means that symptoms no longer run your life. You do.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I’ve been keeping you & your Mexico familia in my prayers too
Big hugs from me & Baby kitty <3
i find my own flashbacks, etc., far easier to manage when i make no attempts to understand nor explain them. let the mystery be. they are, what they are, by whatever name, whether i understand them or knot.
Muji, I get ptsd nightmares when I'm not feeling good or have a procedure.
I had my last nerve ablation done yesterday, yay!!! One more neck steroid injection yuk followed by mid back. I can start heart treatment in 2 weeks. I didn't have nightmares fortunately because this one wasn't as bad as the left side. The left side is where I fell 12 feet from the loft now 10 years ago. I never was able to complete rehab. Just fits and starts. I've read combining aquatic and land therapy together are really beneficial. If only I were that motivated. Eek!
Alfie, my sleep is all over the place in summer with the heat. I wish I was permanently on a 5am to 9pm schedule. Good for you. You do have chickens though don't you?!
Missy, I hope things have become easier for you lately. Hugs
