A consistent event within my personal dysfunction is waking up with the speed of a gunshot. No yawn. No stretch. Just a shot out of bed in full battle readiness. Another round of this started this week. Ouch. Fast moving thought loops are a consistent element. The subject of the thought loops is typically my current list of stresses. My most natural reaction has always been to begin speaking the thought loops at the same speed at which they come at me. Writing them has been my best remedy to date. Hence my hyper-graphia.
This time around I am wondering if I should treat the subject of the thought loops as irrelevant to the event. They matter within my life, but the hyper awakening feels like a purely physical event.
Am I making sense?

But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Light sensitive that I am, I can't sleep past sunrise, even if I am up all night. One of those hard-wired morning people. I am ALWAYS the first one up in any house I have slept in. When I am at home, I often leave warning notes on my husband's tea pot on the hyper-vigilant mornings.
As I guest, I disappear until a more acceptable hour.
