Hey, y'all, I'm just logging on 48 mins before midnight and won't be able to reply to messages and posts for the day in that amount of time.  It's because something nice interfered this time, though:  I took a day trip with my young Mexican friends here.  Since this is my first year of living here, I didn't know distances well enough to gauge them.  We travelled a LONG way today and back home in just one day.  We had a good time together, these are great amigos.  But we just got in.  I decided to post a greeting and explain and say I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow.

Swimming was awesome except for being out of wifi range all of that time. But I'm back.

Where we went swimming was in some natural hot springs in the mountains here in Mexico about an hour and a half away from where I retired to live. Sitting in the hot water in the beauty of nature outdoors was so, so soothing to me. My Mexican buddies and I liked it so much that we decided to come back and extend it from a day trip to an overnight camping trip. It was so good for my PTSD!

Swimming in hot springs sounds wonderful muji and it is good to hear that you had a lovely time with friends while finding some ease from ptsd. hugs

Thanks, my Mexican buddies who went to the hot springs with me talked yesterday about renting a car together and going back asap!

    Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it.  Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
