Though I was just released from the hospital for pneumonia June 24th, I'm pleased to announce I'll still be flying out to Mexico in the morning. I twisted my ankle today to complicate matters a bit, but I got a brace on it that really works. There's lots of wifi in Mexico, so odds are I'll be able to keep coming here to DS PTSD daily. But if not, not to worry. Hasta pronto, amigos!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
You certainly deserve it!
Enjoy. Have you found your retirement mecca yet?

Wow, I had a bad, bad painful Friday night. The shakes came back and my twisted ankle couldn't bear enough weight to make it from the hotel bed to the bathroom.
Looking forward to a better day today Saturday. It's morning in Mexico City, and this afternoon I head back out to the airport to take my last flight of the journey to San Cristobal.
Once there I'll have 16 days to heal. I plan to get lots of bed rest before coming back to the US to start teaching the Fall semester.
I had to give up my summer school class to illness. With only 4 semesters between me and early retirement, I hope bed rest in San Cristobal restores my strength so I can finish the job and retire there for good.
I hope you get to rest well and feel better.
