I've mentioned that I left the family drama where it belongs and life has been a lot more peaceful. Hard decision but the proof that it's calmer now is what tells me I made the right decision. I got my first taste of what this is going to be like yesterday after learning that my grandma passed away last weds and I just got a cold text from my mom yesterday. Learning the news from the classifieds would of been just as informative. I get she's hurt and angry, I guess I just expected compassion about something so sad. Can't get blood from a stone I suppose. Thankfully I had a good discussion with a cousin who doesn't judge me and she said she would keep me posted about a memorial in the spring. Will be hard to see everyone but I'd like the closure. Even if it' just for a few mins. Thx for reading.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Steadying support while you process the loss of your grandma. I, too, am thankful your cousin is there for you.
That's difficult. You are handling it with much grace. Sometimes doing what is best for yourself is hard. I'm happy you are able to face it and continue to do what is best for you.
triple hugs
Well if you ever wanted validation that your perceptions of your family are spot on...you just got it!
Beany, thanks for your kind words, hugs back at ya
I'm sorry for your loss and hope you find a way to honor her sooner than the spring.
Jenny if she was your island in the storm, as my surrogate grandmother was, then share something she taught you as an honor?
Semma(tobacco) down, Prayers up.
