Been feeling militant lately. Seriously want to pick a fight. Any fight. Ready to play Don Quijote with sporting field light poles. Reviewing my research on worthy causes and designing Super Hero Capes to fit the cause.

Anything to get out of work...

So far, so good, I think. Haven't been arrested for sawing down light poles on the Round Rock Express field. Yet. Family members and neighbors are still speaking to me. So far. Collaborators haven't replaced me yet. That I know of.

Sigh. Do I really have to go through this again?

From what you're saying here and what you've said this week in other postings on DS PTSD, this getting back to work thing is big for you right now. No joke. Like a case of writer's block for a novelist. Frustrating. Keep venting with us. We're here for you, arfie.

Several of my base programs time-bombed on me in succession. Means I am back to learning new software instead of continuing the creative flow I had going.

I saw a movie called, "Surviving Picasso" back in the mid 90s. Anthony Hopkins played Pablo Picasso.

My last few rounds through this multi-media joy have given birth to Anthony Picasso reacting to paint brush salesmen confiscating all his paint brushes and telling him he must buy all new brushes before he can finish his current painting. Those new paint brushes end up in some very graphic spots.

Jewells, you don't want to know what Anthony Picasso does to all of the adobe marketing and update ads popping up randomly on his canvas... I am looking for adobe blocking software. But it is job-getting software. Corporations love it.

Better yet, I want an off-line studio. All contact at artist discretion. What is in Anthony Picasso's studio is none of your business.

OH BOY do I recognize THIS phase!!! I've always been for the "underdog"...as a younger woman, "you" didn't want to cross me by hurting someone or something I loved. As I got older, I picked my fights more wisely but I still got into "trouble" even though yes, there were always people who liked me, even loved me. It seems almost all my friends were "needy" and I was the "nurturer" and "protector". The fight's gone out of me now, this happens with a sufficiently life ending tragedy. But I can tell you, there are some people I'd still like to meet on a dark night in a very dark place.

I wish I could get the fight out of me. I am getting better at picking my battles, but only because my bones are more brittle.

Sigh. Guess it's time to visit the kick boxing bag...

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.
