Thanks, y'all. Out of wheel chair, finally!
Today June 21st was my first day out of the wheel chair since June 9th. I'm not all better by a long shot. I still can't walk, but I can stand up now.
My foot with the Chronic Kidney disease neuropathy damage caused by that overprescription of Seroquel for PTSD nightmares hurts when I stand on it but if can bear weight. I was able to stand up and take a shower for the first time in 10 days. For that alone I'm really grateful.
Imagine what that was like here where I've retired in Mexico's heat where daily showers are the norm. I'm really glad this foot's healing, finally. Last year I was down in the wheel chair twice from CKD neuropathy damage.
This is likely to happen again and recovery is likely to delay longer each time. I appreciate your support with that reality. Please give me a couple of days to get caught up on replying to journals and private messages. Thanks.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

yeah, i know my chronic conditions are gonna be back for another round --that is what makes them chronic, after all-- but i still feel better when i take the time to celebrate that i survived another round. i betcha dollars to wishes i'll survive the next round, too.
