I'm on East Coast time, so it's bedtime for me on Christmas Day. I just wanted to thank everyone here at DS PTSD. It has meant a lot to have such companions through the days leading up to Christmas and during this Christmas day. I speak for myself as someone who has made the hard choice not to spend it with family and therefore spends it alone. There are others here who spend it in other less than ideal conditions. It evokes difficult memories for some of us, memories that trigger PTSD.

Speaking for myself, I say thanks to you all for being here. Thanks for all the good wishes. Thanks for the lending of an ear and/or a shoulder to cry on. Thanks for all of the support.

As New Year's Day approaches, we'll need each other again, especially if on our own. But in doing a year's review, I'm glad I spent time here at DS PTSD in 2014 with such good, understanding friends.
