It is super scarey to say it out loud. I said it out loud to my favorite sister. I didn't give her a chance to get too far down the road on how she would do it. My own thoughts are confused enough right now. I said it out loud to my husband. Well... I texted it to him. His encouragement was refreshingly clear and unconditional, but I haven't actually talked to him since the text.
So this be test #3.
Some of you may remember my divorce drama where I left my husband's house and set off to find an apartment and job. Yes, my husband's house. I feel more at home on the road and in the wilderness. He is every inch a homebody. I sincerely want him to have the house. I have been in my new apartment for about 6 weeks. My finances do not require I treat the job hunt like as a crisis at this time. Thank you unspeakable forces. It looks like my husband and I will honor our 33rd anniversary next week. He knew I was a wandering soul when we married and continues to accept that.
The possibility I am currently testing at the "say it out loud" level is:
I think what I am actually doing in this cute, little apartment is setting up a graphics studio. Separating family and business?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...

A graphics studio it may be - it is great to have a designated and undisturbed place to create.
But is this saying anything about your marriage? Personally I see nothing wrong w/ committed couples not actually living together if there are no minor children in the mix.
Virginia Woolf's "A Room of One's Own" comes to mind.
So much awesome can be had!
Hey its great to have a place of your own, a safe space
Not too worried about what it says about my marriage. According to most the They Say on marriage, I shouldn't be married at all, much less a week away from my 33rd anniversary. I straight-up ain't real wife material by any measure, contemporary or traditional. My husband is free to find a real wife any time he wants. Has been from day one. Me is all I am smart enough to be. Define it as you (plural, editorial or singular) wish.
Small bites and long chews...
And the most creative work is becoming yourself isnt it? Always is, always was.
Looking forward to4,5,6.
