Those of you know me might already know I take media fasts on occassion to clear my mind. I am utterly convinced my intellectual diet is every bit as important as my physical diet. The system needs detox on occassion. My fasts are usually partial fasts where I just pass on certain types of media, e.g. media news or psychobabble. Sometimes I go radical and take a break from all things electronic, including battery powered flashlights, etc.
A media fast is NOT the same thing as your tech quitting on you, midstream. A-a-a-A-ack!!! Where's my gun? It gave Hubs and I a fertile moment to continue developing our notions about opening an E-Crack Rehab Clinic. For other people, of course. I take my media fasts. I know *I* am not among those poor hapless junkies.
Excuse me. . . I have surfing to catch up on. . . *Just* taking care of important business. . .

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Anyways I agree with you that we all need to engage more with the outside world, we lose people skills among the other list of stuff that new stuff gets added to almost every week.
But when loss of electronic contact happens and you need it? That sucks! Hahaha Leo. I agree - people can become addicted to it.
Are you sure?
Whether or not they would Get it Right is a different thread.
