talking to a man and I have ptsd

I know this man and we have been talking for a couple of months now. He is amazing to me and respects my space. We hung out on friday and we just talked. We just talk in the car for hours, then we got to some heavy questions about my ptsd. I told him about it and it was hard. I am not someone that likes to be touched at all but as i was telling my story he grabbed my hand. He was just making shapes or messing with my bracelets, I am scared to admit this but it was soothing. I honestly did not expect that because I dont allow anyone to touch me because it freaks me out. I have to see or talk people myself

Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it. Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
