The thirty something son is still in undiagnosed episode. I am proud of myself (I think. Maybe) for being able to stay out of it without alienating my husband/his father. This round is pretty much between the two men and I feel a need to keep it that way.
I might be gaining a new level of understanding about this work-a-holic biz, though. I haven't had the luxury of being able to fully immerse myself in work since I had kids. It really is kinda neat to use work to distract myself from the family drama. Feels allot more productive.
Just an update.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Gentle purrs, if you don't mind, and if you do, then pretend I'm a dog wagging at ail at you:-)
Be proud of yourself. Balancing acts aren't easy except in the movies!
Love your avi, btw, b/c it reminds me of this dog we had when I was young (as all our pets, a rescue) and oh, how like a wolf she seemed when protecting us? Then turned around and just a big old cuddle on feet.:-)
Not kidding about the purring. He really did purr like a big cat. A deep, throaty purr when he was content. I still feel very connected to him.
These days I have a curr dog. I think. Looks allot like an American Pitt, but who knows. Got her from the pound. I connect with the animal, not the paperwork.
