No, I hate sex jokes. They make me so uncomfortable. Heck, I hate the stupid sex posts they're always making over on the bipolar boards. Everyone over there thinks that its soooo funny....and that I'm the immature one because I don't see the humor in it. Oh, and get this!!! I actually had someone send me hugs saying that they were going to "pray for me" because I didn't like their sexual humor!!! WTF is this world coming to? Someone has to pray for me when I don't like sexual humor? You've gotta be kidding me. Puhleeze.

No. You are absolutely NOT alone or the only person triggered and made unsafe by crude pagan behavior.
I am 53 and I can actually remember a time when the world was for the most part a safe place to be, and pagan humor of procreation or ethnic bigotry are only other indications of how sick unsafe our society has become, and especially for children. Pray ceaselessly for them.

ur not alone. i mean, if its clean and not runchy/perverse thats one thing. but with my hubby in the navy, hes heard some that make me want to vomit. its awful some of the things ppl find funny these days

When I am triggered or just in a bad head space ... jokes about sex or raunchy jokes make me mad. That said, when I'm in a good mood jokes about sex usually don't bother me. I think it just depends if I've got the defenses that day to brush it off.

I have XM in my car so I frequently listen to the comedy stations. There are some "jokes" that are so horrible and un-funny that they can affect me for the rest of the day. So, no I don't think you're a prude to be offended by someone else's sense of "humor."

You are not a prude nor off base. I enjoy laughing, listening to jokes and sometimes just being silly, but when the jokes turn sexual, I freeze inside. My whole mood changes. My Mother-in-law sends me jokes like that all the time. All these little old ladies share some pretty raunchy stuff. Thank goodness for the delete key! :) Stay true to your self!!
