they are very expensive. Try finding once already trained in the AKC canine good behavior program then train it yourself to do special things for you. Check out the

Service dogs sound so great, but, to be honest, I dont have the patience to train one...my biggest symptom of PTSD is an incredable short fuse! lol, can I have a service CAT? I mean, they dont do what I say or anything, but I have two.....

there is no website to certify as service dog and there is much more to working and obatian a properly matched and properly trained service dog. MATCH in people with psychiatric disorder is extremely important emotions travel down leash you HAVE to have a dog that can handle YOUR instability, and let it wash off there back and when your can't take control temperaorly with getting stressed or scared themselves. that is much harder than peole think. second you need to find a what the dog can do for you that directly negates your disability, emotional comfort and feeling more secure, don't count legally. they have to be trained in a non natural task to prevent, or negate an aspect of your disorder. what that means is different for each person. but before trying to find a dog you need to know what you want the dog to do to help.
