I am not sure how to start this post but i need to write one. I am already in a really bad depression (3 more weeks left to feel better or being admitted :( ) Grieving my dad really bad, the 6th is dads Bday, then the 7th is my dog abbys 10th bday and we always celebrated her and dad together he liked that a lot :) We would do his cake and a dog cake. (pets deserve bday celebrations too!) the 9th is when an exbf beat and raped me in 2005, then comes fathers day and im just over whelmed and not doing the best right now!i will NOT give in to selfharm urges i promised dad on his death bed i would never do it again! I do NOT get urges to drink. I am just overwhelmed mentally and yesterday broke down crying over nothing. And im getting edge easy too. My peer support is coming today at 2. Mom has the urologist at 930 i am going with her then were going to our favorite coffee shop for a latte. I feel like i am losing my mind, i am not doing well at all... I do not want to be admitted either!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Sounds to me like there is plenty here to cry over. Plenty of fodder for the other "undesirable" emotions, as well.
In my own healing journey, I have learned not to deny or fight those emotional proofs of ,my humanity. I work to validate and channel them. The quickest way out is straight on through. Steady as she goes.
But that is me. . .
Continued support while you find your own way.
If that feels too overwhelming do something else to honor him. visit Veterans In the hospital whatever he was involved with honor him that way. You and Abby can take treats to local shelter to honor both your dog and Dad.
Prayers for you and your time of sorrow.
I miss my dad so bad, he was a veteran and proud of it
i just am really struggling and so tired on the med changes.
