Arfie- I'd say the unconditional support people offer here means we want to know you will be helped, whether or not we can be part of that.

Likewise, if you get to a point where you didn't need the support here, I'd miss you but also be happy for you.

Reminds me of a comment you made once to somebody's post regarding trying to launch from an abusive family. Only in this instance, if we are to imagine DS as a healthy family from which some may launch, as a healthy family we need to want for our individual members what they want/need for themselves.

So, yeah, since I recall the stuff you wrote months ago (sure I'm not the only one here), you do have a very positive impact and affect on others.

Guayaba, I like that. Thank you. It is what I love about my therapy family. Very positive send-offs. My birth family moved constantly with nary a positive send off. Moving on is my personal goal in all this. Travel would be nice, too. Changing residence is more work than this lazy woofer wants to do.

Preparations for launch are underway. I be 1800 miles from my mother's current residence. I am the nut job who can use an entire week to go 100 miles.

I have added a piece of technology to my field kit. Better connectivity. Might or might not use it.
