Hi guys,
Im reaching out for support. I’ve been going to a lot of appointments lately for all my diagnosis’ & also injuries from all the trauma & violence. Today is the appointment for the results of MRI for my cervical spine, I’m nervous & scared. It’s like 3 am here & the appointment is at 11:00 & I just don’t think sleeps happening tonight
My PTSD is in full affect, very triggered by this time of year & trying to deal with that on it’s own ... so that plus these appointments plus the injuries tied into body memories of .... well I’ll just say trauma instead of writing how horrible it all was. I’m struggling but trying the best I can
But yea, I’m reaching out for support because I just feel scared

Has anyone heard from Mary Louise lately?is she ok?

A friend wrote recently about "What if this was your last day on Earth?" And it's kinda thought-provoking.What if you knew this WAS your last day on Earth? What would you do differently? It would probably be overwhelming. I think I'd spend at least part of it writing down things I want people to know. What would you do?

Steady as she blows through the stormy sees.
For what it's worth
I embrace my insomnia as a gift when I am caught up in anticipation anxiety. When the dread event finally arrives, the effects of the sleep deprivation typically have me too exhausted to react hysterically. An all natural sedative.
Your courage inspires me,
love&hugs&prayers.

I hope your results are all good news but either way you have support here. All the best.
It is okay to feel afraid, to say your afraid. It is a rational response to the hurt and abuses you and your body have been through. Recognizing that you have suffered and that you don't want to do so again is actually a very healthy , normal defense and response.
Just also remember, that you have been afraid many , many times that you were not hurt or abused, you have shed many tears reliving the fears over and over, and you get through them, back to your kitten, your friends, your songs, all the parts of your life that you find comfort within when the PTSD is quiet.
You are strong even when you feel weak, and when you feel scared. You can be both, afraid and brave at the same time. You can remember the abuse and the pain at the same moment you remember you survived then, and you are alive in the now.
Give yourself permission to feel whatever you need to feel, whenever you need to feel it, but believe in your actual survival rate. Feeling means you are human!
Right now you are 100% survivor of every difficult, painful and scarring moment of the past. 100%. Being 100% means you are an amazing soul. It means you have depths you don't even realize you have, talents you are unaware of, abilities you don't give yourself credit for, the capacity to love that is endless, and the resilience of an eternal compassion.
Triple squishy hugs to comfort your fear and pain, and triple respect and admiration for your perseverance and honesty.
I wish I could write more but my heads foggy & I just woke up from finally sleeping. but maybe later if it’s okay I might write more about my results & appointments
Big hugs <3
