PTSD symptoms no known cause

Ever have a day when you had PTSD anxiety symptoms, but they never resolved themselves, never revealed their cause, their trigger, never defined themselves with any clarity? Never came to a head?
Today it's been like I'm on a roller coaster with the pit of my stomach leaping every so often for no apparent reason. Not mood changes like bipolar, just that anxious fear thrill of a roller coaster ride coming over me every so often. Tingling the skin, a little bit of a chill, that "whoops" feeling in the pit of the stomach, a little fear but with nothing obvious provoking it. I've had a headache with it, too. Feeling kind of burnt out from it at day's end now.
This is what I feel separates me from so-called "normal" people. When I'm having PTSD symptoms that I can't communicate about very well or explain. I sure can't predict when they will be over, either, something a partner would like to know so we could get out of the house and go to a movie or something.
On occasion I have days like this, and just have to ride them out. Sound familiar to anyone?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Hope this helps.
Sending you lots of peace, safety and warm wishes.
treat yourself with some self love. Where is that big ole comfy couch? find it put your feet up and inane TV on.
The start of the semester may be the reason? Computer"what can go wrong today" -itis.
Or just...My god, I may be solving this...then what am I to do? You've come along way baby...
Hugs Jewell.
So today I started looking at the little boy that was once me. So alone, so wanting to be loved and accepted, to be protected. The questions began to come rapidly, "what was wrong with me? Why can't you love me? Why can't you see my pain?" I found myself starting to get angry as the pain welled up within. I needed to talk with someone but my wife can't relate. She can't understand. Then my daughter said something and I snapped out it. I realized that here was one who loved me. One who needed me. I can't change the past or those responsible for how I feel. I can change how I react to the memories. I can refuse to dwell upon them. So every time one pops up, I simply refuse to allow it to take root in my mind. I focus on something else. I will not be a victim.
There are many things that can trigger me. A smell, a word, a thought. Perhaps something on TV. I learn to recognize my triggers. I cut them off before they take control. It has kept me sane.
I remain convinced that academic conditioning injects our entire culture with anxiety four times a year. Beginning and end of traditional semesters. And we're off. New semester is in high speed swing. Onward through the rush.
I have complex PTSD with chronic pain, and general anxiety, so it's also about meds for me. They've recently finished a med switchover so now I'm adjusting to the latest "new normal". (Oh joy.)
I am at a point wherein I am begining to understand from where they are coming...
The most difficult things for me to accept are my actions when I am triggered... Sometimes, when I look back, I feel rather embarrassed...
I must consistently remind myself to be kind and patient with myself... That is not always easy to do, but it definitely makes a difference in my healing process...
