PTSD overdose nerve neuropathy foot wound
Yesterday I stepped on a nail out walking. The nail went clean through the sole of my shoe and deeply into my foot. I didn't feel it because of my CKD neuropathy from a bad pdoc's PTSD meds overdose that has killed the nerves in my legs, so it kept working its way into my foot.
Today I discovered that I have a big hole in my foot, which is dangerous because I'm a diabetic and infections led to foot amputations for my diabetic grandmother. It's a tough day for me.
I'm really sick and tired of all of the complications I've had to cope with in dealing with that bad pdoc's PTSD meds overdose. They're just as bad as the PTSD itself, if not worse. M.D.'s take the Hippocractic Oath when they become doctors, an oath that says "do no harm." This bad pdoc harmed me plenty with the gift that keeps on giving. Support welcome.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I am so sorry!
hugs and prayers of healing.
That's awful! Please take care of it. Amputations seem like a scary thing to happen. I emphasize with you about too high of a dose. When I was prescribed Adderall for ADHD it aggravated my nervous system and it was too high of a dose. It shouldn't even have been combined with the other medication I was taking even though my doctor said it was okay. It really caused intense PTSD symptoms and adrenalin dysautonomia. Really I found out my ADHD symptoms weren't ADHD symptoms it was PTSD rearing its ugly head. Sending you support my friend. You deserve a break from the complications.
take extra special care and don't rush the healing process. steadying support while you heal. prayers in progress. . .
off-topic
my house has a wrap around porch and i use a wheelchair to keep up with the munchkins while they are playing on the porch. i call it, "the porch patrol chair." i'm thinking of having it outfitted with lights and a siren.
beep, beep. . . crazy driver coming through.
Medical misogyny means I'll never feel/use my right foot the same way, and my outrage at that will never subside.
Do no harm is the oath ---- and then, if they do it, *fix it*! I say.
HUGS of healing
I 100 percent under stand diabetes and complications and neuropathy! I am losing more and more feeling in my feet and lower legs. I have it mild in my hands and lower arms. Mine is not ALL from diabetes some is from my back issues where the nerves are pinched very bad from my spinal stenosis that is severe. I developed diabetes from we believe being on antipsychotics so long mainly abilify that i was on almost 10 years. We did not find it until i took rexulti but we do believe that the abilify caused it. I have been on this kind of meds for now 18 years. Depression meds for 23 years. I HAVE to take them or i get very suicidal and have no quality of life. I do not blame my Drs or shrink because at least i was warned it could happen. Also I have PCOS and most with PCOS end up type 2 eventually. At least according to my ob/gyn. I despise my diabetes but at the same time have accepted it is here to stay and its one thing i never mess around with, never ever have i messed with not testing or taking my insulin etc. I saw what it did to my late husband and my very close friends fiance has lost a leg above the knee to gangrene about a year or so ago.
All these side effects from meds are a PAIN and the side effects from the side effects seem to be even worse than the original side effect if that makes sense! Sending hugs and prayers for you! I always worry about my feet! My late husband would get horrible ulcers on his and he even had MRSA on his legs that would NOT heal. I am very lucky i am negative for MRSA and he had it in sores on his legs before his accident and was colonized with it after the accident from so many people handling him at the scene of the accident without being able to sanitize first, it was a very severe accident the guy that hit him was driving at over 90mph and tboned in his door when my late husband was turning at a green light, the other guy had a red light and it was 55mph speed limit. Always here if you need to chat to someone who gets it!
Here with you
I’ve been having some tough days too (injury & pain stuff, migraines, dissociation ect.) you have my empathy for sure. I’m sorry you’re having a tough time too
Keeping you in my prayers for sure
Gentle hug <3
Big hug... I'm sorry to see how much you've been struggling of late..... xo
