PTSD due to a medical condition/experience?

My PTSD is mainly linked to something that happened (repeatedly to me) about 5 months ago ...and I'm just wondering if this is the basis of anyone else's PTSD?If so, is anyone taking anti-depressants or how are you handling the situation
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have been doing EMDR therapy for a few weeks and am not too impressed yet, I just need to do more homework to see results I think. Also, I just got back on Remeron, I hate it but it works.

Hi there,I have had PTSD for 15 + years. I was only triggered a few months ago by a sexual harrassment situation that happened in my work place.I was in denial of having any post tour issues from being in Somalia and Rwanda from when I was a medic in the military. At first my doctor thought I was depressed , treated me with Effixor.. terrible reactions to the drug. Now that I have a confirmed diagnosis my psychiatrist has me on Cepralex and Risperidone for my depression and anxiety and Imovane at night as well. It helps. what works for one will not always work for others and you may need to try different things, which at first will feel frustrating, but once you find the right combination, its smooth sailing from there. Chin up! It will come!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
