Well it certainly isn't a sleeper but it's my very favorite show on the planet because it helps me feel less alone. Law and Order SVU and I can watch it for HOURS!!!!

Hi Arfie...hope you are home now, I haven't been on for two days. Mine is U-Tube. I got rid of TV because I hate the programs. I can find All the classics from pbs, great stars on free movies, and current programs like so you think you can dance, or AMT, cooking shows, not to mention the multitude of meditations and sleep music...it is my go to place. Pretty much TVLand if you have cable. All old sitcoms all the time. Tho I usuually run DVDs of favorite home learning courses. Geology is a standard, for me.

I love Friends and Hawaii 5-0 as Blue Sky suggested. Others I have recently or am currently binge watched and enjoyed.

My shows I run over and over for background noise are Law and Order, Forensic Files, Blue Bloods, Criminal minds. Most of those shows are two dimensional and like you say, white noise but familiar voices. If i am in it to watch it, different story. Last year I started watching Grey's Anatomy and I am addicted. I missed it tonight. Vikings, Hannibal but i think they are done with that. There are a ton of hbo shows i liked but i do not have it now. It is rare these days I find something good to watch I set my clock to.

I can't even remember the last time I tolerated a network commercial advertisement. Long enough that I have had time to get curious what the latest products/talking head scandals are. A little, once in a while. My last political campaign was, "Get your freakin' cable tv off of my internet bill." Took a while, but . . . finally happened.

Luther - a detective with an anger issue - there are 5 seasons, i lke that, i like Luther too. it got too scary so i took a break. but i WILL be back, cause it's good. british cop drama

Documentaries of different types get me going. I was watching a series on Oh gosh, oh, nat geo. It is called Facing Nat Geo. Last night they had one about the Russian prisons and facing Putin. The Putin was more about who he really is and not so much about politics. Gets into his KGB experience and how he became prime minister etc. Now, if you are looking for shows like Cleverman, I would suggest Game of Throwns. Never seen it myself. I watched Boardwalk Empire and got addicted to that. Lots of nudity, cussing and violence if its not triggering for you. Vinyl and Deadwood were on my list too before mom decided we did not need HBO, lol. No commercials either.
