December in a kiddie whorehouse is. . . memorable. Unfortunately. . . I still don't love December but I believe I have come a long way in healing the injury of that childhood conditioning. Calendar reflections are one of the ways I have herstorically distracted myself from the pain of the cultural reminders. There are an estimated 40 calendars in use in our contemporary world. The Gregorian calendar is the one which declares today as the start of the new year. By the Julian calendar, the new year commences on the Gregorian January 14. On the Julian calendar still in use, today is 2,458,119.500000.
Anybody have calendar trivia they want to share?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I don't get that.
Now that you mention it, I haven't run the etymology in other languages.
Hm-m-m-m. . .
Healing hopes.
May your pain continue to ease with each passing year.

As far as calendars I don’t know if it’s considered a calendar but I used to read the farmer almanacs to read about the different full moons. My current calendar is all beaches & beach sides cause it reminds me of Puerto Rico.
Here's a link to a converter and I'm cutting and pasting the converter key that comes with it. Have fun.

Prophecy fulfilled. The Mayans had quite allot of treasures worthy of further development. On some of my more pagan days, I believe Quetzalcoatl is my Spirit Guide.
