I'm struggling to sleep recently, was diognosed with p.t.s.d a few weeks ago,due to my stepdad sexually abusing me from the age of 6 to 28. I really struggle to sleep some days. I had a flash back 3 days ago asking if he can sleep in my bed, since then I've not slept well and can't sleep in bed. I had 4 hours in 2 days then finally managed to have about 5 hours on sofa,I seem to be more settled on sofa! Any advise?

Maybe try sleeping in bed and setting an alarm so that after a few hours in bed sleeping, you go to couch? Or vice versa? And increase time in bed gratdually so you come to feel safer there?
Just an idea.
Healing hopes for good rest for you.
Thanks for the update, paula.
