Hello- I have recently been diagnosed with PTSD due to childhood truama and other truamas throughout my life. I have a question for anyone with childhood truama and PTSD, does anyone else sometimes struggle with simple things you learned in childhood-math for example?

Hiya My internet is changing today and I'm not sure how long the switch over will take, I'm hoping 24 hours at the most, but I'm probably being too optimistic We are changing to another company and going full fibre for the internet. But at least it's changing to the one payment rather than the payment for the home landline phone and a payment for the internet. So I'm not going to be on here...

Name something you hated as a kid that you love as an adult.

i have more of that, that i am aware of from my adult life. i am missing things like from scratch recipes i knew by heart, not written down anywhere - they are gone. just gone. erased, i think. maybe they'll come back to me at some point. it doesn't sound devastating as i type it right now, but there is so much more that went along with, i can sort of tell there was more and there is this big empty place now. when i blanked the horrifying parts all the rest went too. tw,
tw
the shock that hit when it hit, it took everything else with it from 'then' (different 'thens')
i think we can get some of that back after therapy/working thru the trauma(s) or whatever style/type of therapy work your therapist/dr uses.
i've worked thru a lot here. talking, being more real than i have ever been in my life until here. feeling the most safe ever, feeling safe enough
safe enough is something i learned from reading from www.pete-walker.com
he gives so much for free about growing up in trauma. gentle hugs. here is good.
