Iam trying this new med. It is used for all kinds of things, mosrly high blood pressure, but doc is using it for my ptsd. I feel ok so far. Iwonder if anyone else has tooken it, prazosin, how has it helped you?

I don't have firsthand experience with it, but I have family members who have done well on it. The family member who has shared the most about it has taken it for blood pressure during the phases when the holistic management isn't coming together well. It works. Haven't heard reports of negative side effects.

I take this med and it stops my nightmares almost completely. I used to have horrifying dreams every night and now it is once a month at most. It helps me. I've tried going off it a couple of times but went back on it cause it helps me that much. It doesn't work for everyone those. I suggest making a chart of your symptoms that bother you and check off if they are getting better while on this than you will have something concrete to look at to see if if helps. Good luck.

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.
